* Non-US students obtain PMBOK from other sources and download and print workbooks from TheCourse web site. A sample agreement is offered, subject to review, negotiation and revision by the parties. The roles of the parties are set forth below. The Associate will promote TheCourse Online in its catalog and such other media as it regularly uses, and will register each student and collect their fees as applicable. Then the student will be turned over to University Learning Institute (ULI) through online or manual methods provided by ULI. The Associate will retain its component of the fee and remit the remainder to ULI for distribution as outlined above. ULI will provide and ship the student materials to students within the United States, grant a license to the student and administer the course. Upon completion, ULI will issue a certificate to the student and notify the school. Non-US Associates will provide a copy of PMBOK to the student. Non-US students will download and print workbooks from TheCourse web site after receiving their login credentials. TheCourse is usually treated by institutions of higher learning as continuing education or professional development. Students of TheCourse usually already have a bachelor or advanced degree, and are not interested in academic credits. They expect a certificate from the school, and sometimes need notification of passing or a grade in order to receive reimbursement from their employers. We are able to provide that. |
